Shopping & Editions
How do I know if a textbook is the current edition?
Every product page lists the edition number in the title and description. The ISBN shown is the US edition ISBN. If your professor specified a particular edition, match the ISBN exactly. For nursing, medical, and pharmacology textbooks, publishers release new editions every 2-3 years. For older fields like classical literature or mathematics, editions change less often. If you're unsure, email us at bookshopnow.sales@gmail.com with your syllabus.
Are these authentic US edition textbooks?
Yes. Every book at Book Shop Now is sourced directly from US publishers or their authorized distributors. We do not sell counterfeit textbooks, photocopied versions, or unauthorized international editions sold as US editions. If you ever receive a book that doesn't match the listing, contact us for a full refund.
Do you sell international editions?
No. We only sell the US edition of each textbook. International editions are legal to own in the US (per Kirtsaeng v. Wiley) but the pagination, problem sets, and references differ from US editions, which can cause issues in coursework.
Do textbooks include access codes for MyLab, Connect, Mastering, etc.?
Most textbooks come with one-time-use access codes only if specified in the product description. If a course requires the access code, look for the bundle version. Used books generally do not include valid codes.
Shipping & Delivery
How fast does Book Shop Now ship?
Orders ship from our US warehouse within 1-2 business days. Standard US delivery is 3-7 business days. Express options are available at checkout. See our Shipping Information page for details.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently focus on US shipping only to keep delivery fast and costs low for our core customers. For international orders, we recommend contacting your local academic bookseller or buying direct from the publisher.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking number by email within 24 hours of shipment. You can also log into your account to view order status.
Returns & Refunds
What's your return policy?
If a book arrives damaged, mismatched to listing, or you change your mind within 14 days of delivery, contact us for a return authorization. Books must be in resellable condition (no markings, writing, or torn pages). Once received, refunds process within 3-5 business days. See our full refund policy.
My book arrived damaged or wrong. What do I do?
Email bookshopnow.sales@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement or full refund immediately at no cost to you.
Payment & Pricing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal through Shopify's secure checkout.
Do you price-match Amazon or other retailers?
We aim to be priced competitively against major academic retailers. If you find an identical US edition textbook at a lower price elsewhere, email us before purchase and we'll review on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer discounts for bulk or institutional orders?
Yes. For orders over $500 or institutional purchases (schools, libraries, hospital training programs), email bookshopnow.sales@gmail.com with your list of titles and ISBNs for a bulk quote.
